The TNIPMC is administered by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD). The committee is comprised of 11 members that represent a variety of perspectives, including provincial and local governments, First Nations, academia and stewardship. The committee’s operating area follows the TNRD boundary.

The TNIPMC encourages multi-party collaboration on invasive plant management. The committee also works towards protecting the regions environmental, economic and social values from invasive plant impacts by sharing invasive plant prevention and management messaging.
