August 11, 2018 5:00 p.m. - Evacuation Alert and Map
August 10, 2018 3:30 p.m. - Evacuation Alert and Map

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) Emergency Operations Centre advises that the Wild Goose Wildfire no longer poses an imminent risk of danger to life and properties in the areas shown on the attached map.

Therefore pursuant to Section 5.4 of TNRD Local Authority Emergency Program Bylaw No. 2017, 2004, the Evacuation Alerts issued on August 10, 2018 at 1530 hrs, August 11, 2018 at 1700 hrs, and August 25, 2018 at 1430 hrs are rescinded for the following properties:

  • 4385, 4405, and 4415 Big Bar Rd;
  • All even numbered homes from 1876 to 1948 Lake Drive;
  • 2629 to 3193 Little Big Bar Rd; and
  • All other properties as identified on the attached map.
